Availability

The great advantage of geothermal energy compared to fossil fuels such as oil
or coal is that the hot layers of rock in the earth's interior and the thermal water surrounding them offer an endless energy reservoir. At the end of the utilisation process, the thermal water that was pumped to the surface is fed back to the natural cycle, where it is reheated and can be re-pumped back, time and time again, to the surface.
As well as being an inherently environmentally safe process, this offers significant energy and economic advantages: Every coal mine and every oil deposit is exhausted at some time or other, or is no longer profitable even before it has
been exhausted. Geothermal heat, on the other hand, is available indefinitely. Current research findings confirm that geothermal energy recovery at a good geological location is practically unlimited.

Geothermal Power: 24-hour All-Weather Energy

Even in terms of operation, the availability of geothermal energy recovery is
greatly superior to most other forms of renewable energy such as solar energy or wind power. Geothermal energy is capable of handling base loads; it is available
24 hours a day, 365 days per year, regardless of weather conditions.
Once engineering is complete, geothermal energy production is independent of external factors. With the exception of interruptions to operations for maintenance work, energy recovery is guaranteed permanent and clean.
